This Privacy Policy ("Policy") sets out the data protection practices of pkr498, the English-language information and editorial guide platform accessible at https://pkr498.cam ("the Platform"). It describes how pkr498 collects, processes, stores, shares and protects personal data in connection with Users' access to and use of the Platform.

pkr498 is committed to protecting the privacy of all Users, including those accessing the Platform from Pakistan — specifically from cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar — as well as users in other jurisdictions.

This Policy applies to all personal data collected through the Platform, including data provided voluntarily by Users (for example, through support contact) and data collected automatically through standard web technologies. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the data practices described herein.

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:

• "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to name, email address, IP address and browsing behaviour on the Platform.
• "Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, erasure or destruction.
• "Data Controller" means pkr498, the entity that determines the purposes and means of Processing of Personal Data collected through the Platform.
• "User" means any natural person who accesses or uses the Platform in any capacity.
• "Cookies" means small text files placed on a User's device by a web server, used to store information about that User's browsing session or preferences.
• "Third Party" means any entity other than pkr498 and the User, including payment providers referenced contextually on the Platform (such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah).
• "Applicable Law" means any statute, regulation or judicial decision applicable to the Processing of Personal Data in the relevant jurisdiction.

pkr498 collects the minimum Personal Data necessary to operate the Platform and to respond to User enquiries. The categories of data we may collect are set out below.

pkr498 collects Personal Data through the following mechanisms:

When a User contacts the pkr498 editorial or support team by email — using the address published as plain text on the Platform — they voluntarily provide their email address and the content of their message. This data is collected and stored in connection with the support interaction only.

When a User accesses the Platform, standard web server infrastructure automatically records Technical Data including IP address, browser type, device type and access timestamps. This data is collected for Platform security, performance monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis.

pkr498 may employ privacy-respecting web analytics tools to understand aggregate user behaviour on the Platform. Where such tools are used, they are configured to minimise the collection of personally identifiable data and to comply with applicable privacy standards. Individual-level behavioural profiling for advertising purposes is not conducted.

pkr498 processes Personal Data on the following legal bases, depending on the nature and purpose of each processing activity:

• Consent: Where Users voluntarily submit Personal Data (for example, by contacting support), their act of submission constitutes consent to the Processing of that data for the purpose of responding to their enquiry.
• Legitimate Interests: Processing of Technical Data and Usage Data for Platform security, performance monitoring and aggregate analytics is conducted on the basis of pkr498's legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional Platform for its Users.
• Legal Obligation: Where Applicable Law requires the retention or disclosure of Personal Data — for example, in connection with a lawful authority request — pkr498 will process such data on the basis of legal obligation.

pkr498 uses collected Personal Data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Responding to support and editorial enquiries submitted by Users via the published email address
• Operating, maintaining and improving the security and performance of the Platform
• Analysing aggregate usage patterns to improve content quality, navigation and user experience

pkr498 does not sell, rent, trade or disclose Personal Data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared in the following limited circumstances only:

pkr498 may engage third-party service providers to assist with Platform hosting, infrastructure management or analytics. Any such providers are engaged under data processing agreements that restrict their use of Personal Data to the performance of the contracted service and prohibit independent use or disclosure.

Personal Data may be disclosed to law enforcement authorities, courts or regulatory bodies where pkr498 is required to do so by Applicable Law, court order or lawful governmental request. pkr498 will, where legally permissible, notify affected Users of such disclosures.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of pkr498's operations, Personal Data held at the time of the transaction may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent data protection obligations applying to that entity.

pkr498 does not share User Personal Data with third-party gambling operators, sportsbooks, live casino platforms or any entity involved in gambling operations. References to payment providers such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah on this Platform are purely contextual — no data is transferred to or shared with those entities by pkr498.

pkr498 may use cookies and similar technologies on the Platform. The following categories of cookies may be in use:

Upon expiry of the relevant retention period, Personal Data is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with pkr498's internal data management procedures. Users may request early deletion of their data — subject to any overriding legal retention obligations — by contacting the support address published on the Platform.

pkr498 applies reasonable and proportionate technical and organisational security measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction. These measures include but are not limited to:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between Users' devices and the Platform
• Access controls restricting Personal Data access to authorised personnel only
• Regular review of security practices and infrastructure to address emerging threats
• Secure storage of support correspondence with appropriate access logging

While pkr498 implements commercially reasonable security measures, no online system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data security incident that is likely to result in a high risk to User rights and freedoms, pkr498 will take steps to contain the incident and, where required by Applicable Law, notify affected Users and relevant authorities.

Subject to Applicable Law, Users have the following rights in relation to their Personal Data held by pkr498. To exercise any of these rights, contact the support address published on the Platform as plain text.

pkr498 will acknowledge rights requests within a reasonable period and aim to respond substantively within 30 days. Where a request is complex or numerous, this period may be extended, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.

The Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 18 years or older, or the higher minimum age required by the operator/licence jurisdiction applicable to any gambling platform accessed independently. pkr498 does not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors.

If pkr498 becomes aware that Personal Data has been collected from a person under the minimum applicable age without appropriate consent, that data will be deleted promptly. Parents or guardians who believe that a minor has submitted Personal Data to pkr498 are encouraged to contact the support address so that the matter can be addressed without delay.

Users accessing the Platform from Pakistan should be aware of the following:

• Pakistan does not currently have a comprehensive standalone data protection law equivalent to those in some other jurisdictions. Various provisions of the Constitution of Pakistan, the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and other instruments may be relevant to data privacy.
• pkr498 is not authorised, licensed, regulated or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, the State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani provincial authority in respect of data processing or any other activity.
• The processing of personal data in connection with online gambling platforms is subject to additional considerations in Pakistan given gambling restrictions under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. pkr498 is an information platform only — it does not process gambling transactions.

pkr498 reserves the right to update or revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law or the Platform's functionality. Where material changes are made, the effective date displayed at the top of this page will be updated.
